Saskatchewan Man Wanted in Intimate Partner Violence Case, May Be in Peel Region

Peel Regional Police are seeking public assistance to locate Jagmohanjit Jheety, a 47-year-old man from Saskatchewan, wanted in connection with an intimate partner violence investigation.

Jheety is the subject of a Canada-wide warrant for charges including criminal harassment, harassing communications, uttering death threats, and failing to comply with a release order. Authorities believe Jheety is in the Peel Region and may have access to firearms and other weapons.

In addition to the aforementioned charges, Jheety faces charges of unauthorized possession of a firearm, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm, and careless storage of a firearm. Police consider him armed and dangerous and urge anyone who sees him to call 911 immediately and not to approach him.

Police are also encouraging Jheety to seek legal counsel and turn himself in. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Peel Regional Police’s Intimate Partner Violence Unit at 905-453-2121, ext. 4990, or provide information anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
