Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce holds its Annual General Meeting 2024

Toronto, Canada – September 27, 2024 

The Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC), a non-profit organization fostering economic and business ties between Canada and India, held its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites on September 27, 2024.   

The meeting was chaired by Ajay Tandon, a long-time member of the ICCC. Several past Presidents and Directors, committee members were present, in addition to the Board of Directors. The meeting began with Corporate Secretary Prashant Srivastava giving a brief overview of the ICCC. 

President Chirag Shah, in his report, spoke about the various events and meetings that took place over the year, including delegations, speaker series, golf, and the trade mission to India. President Shah also spoke about upcoming events and long-term projects like a new office for the ICCC and the 50th anniversary celebrations in 2027. President Shah also thanked immediate past President Murarilal Thapliyal for his leadership.

Two new Directors joining the Board of Directors are Dr. Indira Khurana and Vikas Gupta. Chirag Shah was re-elected as President by the board. Shah thanked everyone for their support and promised to take the Chamber to the next level.
